When will my subscription coffee be roasted?

All subscription coffee will be roasted less than 24 hours before it leaves our doors.

How much coffee is in a bag?

All of our bags listed on the website are 12 ounces.  This has become the standard in the world of specialty coffee for two reasons: 1.) Green coffee looses moisture and other gases during the roasting process and 12 oz reflects that "shrink."  2.) We want you to get the best taste out of your coffee and roasted coffee is at it's best if brewed within 2 weeks of being roasted. That means buying smaller amounts of coffee more frequently to ensure great coffee all of the time!

Who is "local"?

At present, we can only provide local subscription delivery to those with a 61350 zipcode.

What can you tell me about the "coffee of the month"?

Those who believe that the best coffee is still on the horizon should sign up for the coffee of the month!  There are so many good coffees available and your participation in this program will allow us to find them and bring them to you!  Feel free to drop us a line if you are curious to know what we're roastin'!
